And precisely because the explanatory chasm remains open, we must fiercely resist the hijacking of narrative. Civil society is being systematically indoctrinated to perceive these hypothetical entities not as physical mysteries to be investigated, but as new "saviors" of our species. The geopolitics of secrecy, which States have managed for seventy years, is being replaced by a mystical globalism where the human figure becomes dispensable, a mere evolutionary failure waiting to be corrected by "Big Brothers." We categorically reject this fallacy. The value of nations, the structure of families and the rights of the person are not subject to cosmic referendum.
We thus arrive at the unbreakable synthesis of this effort. Faced with the indecipherable mystery that the UAP phenomenon represents, modernity demands that we collapse our morality and bury our metaphysics. And our answer, anchored in the living rock of Thomism and Tradition, is an absolute and resounding no.
What do we DO know?
We know that reality is not a hallucination or a social construct; It has an objective, causal and intelligible order that preexists any human or alien theory. We know that the human person is an unbreakable substantial unity of body and rational soul, endowed with intellect to embrace the truth and the will to embrace the good. We know that Natural Moral Law is not a tribal convention dictated by our location in the Milky Way, but the Creator's burning imprint on our nature; It is immutable, objective and universally binding.
And, fundamentally, from the sovereign height of the theology of history, we know that Jesus Christ is the incarnate Word by whom, and for whom, absolutely all things, visible and invisible, were created (Colossians 1:16). If tomorrow the heavens revealed civilizations immensely older than ours, or intelligences foreign to our biology, they would also be, inescapably, creatures of God. They would also be subject to His dominion. And the infinite value of each human soul redeemed by the blood on the Cross would not diminish one iota.
The contemporary fascination with UAPs is, ultimately, the desperate cry of a world that has lost its sense of transcendence. They seek in the stars the immortality that they have just murdered on the altars. But in the face of this technological idolatry, we oppose the intellectual serenity of those who already know the end of history. Neither height, nor depth, nor the preternatural powers of the air will ever be able to separate us from the Truth, because the Truth is not a cosmic equation; He is a Person, and he has already overcome the world.
